FaLl bReAk

Our friends, The Crossley's, came out to visit from Montana over Fall break and we had loads of fun. It was really good to see them and just hang out... but It made me realize how much I miss them :( They are SO funny and we have such a good time together. And apparently, so do the kids...

This is totally safe... I promise :)
Elli & Isaac came with us to the pumpkin patch/corn maze at Vineyard Gardens.

These boys truly love eachother... They have a love/hate relationship :)

Jaxon, Hallie, And Alexiss at the bouncey slide at Vineyard Gardens.

Get the shotgun ready James!!!

James & Stacey
Poor Stacey... I treat her just like my own sister!
Miss these guys!!

Bear Lake 2009

We headed to Bear Lake for like 5 days in September and Elli and her family came, my parents came for a day, our friends the Haderlie's came for a day and we got to hang out with Alan's buddy Scott, who lives in Laketown! It was a great (and cold) little get away... but always SO beautiful! Enjoy these cute pics :)

Isn't that some seriously blue water? That's my favorite part about Bear Lake... SO beautiful! I would love to live up there... or close by at least :)
P.S. Why don't they have merry-go-rounds at parks anymore? My kids love them!

Buddies

So, Alan loves to take off with his buddies and do guy stuff like dirt biking, hiking, repelling, etc. Here are a few highlights of where he's been this summer with his buddies...

Hiking in slot canyons at San Rafael Swell

I have TONS of pictures of his friends and like 2 of him... but what guy asks his friends to take a picture of him? That would be SO lame :)

Hiking/repelling at San Rafael Swell

Natural Bridge they found at San Rafael Swell when they were dirt biking on a trail called "5 Miles of Hell"... sunds FUN!

Apparently there is a whole in the side of this rock... kinda hard to see.

This is a 4 wheeling day trip they took up in AF Canyon I think.
They got lost this day and spent hours trying to get out of an impossible situation... and he missed Summer's birthday party... but we're glad he made it out ok;)

That is the back of Timp in the background.
I'm glad Alan has friends he can do that kind of stuff with... I don't think I would really enjoy 5 Miles of Hell :)

Love you Babe!

Wheelers

My sister Caro came out for Labor Day weekend this year and The guys took the kids 4 wheeling up at Strawberry Lake while we had a day shopping with the babies!

Thanks for coming too Uncle Dewayne!

Jaxon has finally learned how to shift on the 4 wheeler and he is SO into it... just like his Dad :)

Summer & Christian

Best Buds forever !!!

And this is the "incident" that ended the day... Hallie decided she was sick of riding with her beautiful helmet (that Alan had just bought in order to be safe and not get in trouble from the Rangers). Well, guess who decides to pull up right at that minute?... THE RANGER! And although he could have ticketed us for quite a few things, he just got us for Hallie not having her helmet on. So that was quite an expensive day... but SO priceless!

School

Hallie started Kindergarten this year and she has the same teacher Jaxon had last year... Ms. Thompson. She is the nicest, sweetest techer in the world... and the kids really excel in her class! We are SO glad Hallie got her this year.

Jaxon is in Mrs. Harris' 1st grade class and he is so glad that Dane and William are in his class again this year. Jaxon really loves his teacher, but is kindof having a hard time with the long days. After homework and practicing it's nearly 5:00. That makes for a LONG day for a 1st grader... but he will adjust. He's a great kid!

Summer got a male teacher again this year... Mr. Ellingson and is SO glad that her BFF's are in her class again (Livi, Rachel, Olivia, and now Abish). She is really starting to come out of her shell this year. She even decided on her own to run for Scholar President (which she had to campaign and give a speech for)... and she WON!!

Tyson is in the Kids on the Move program for his delay in speech and his "anger" issues. And we are FINALLY starting to see a lot of progress. He has a speech therapist come out once a month and his "Melinda" comes out once a month too. He is also in a play group once a week at the Kids on the Move building. And although he still HATES going into Nursery ... we are starting to see a little but of an improvement :)

We are off to a great start this year.
